FAQs
What should my child bring?
Please send your child with a labeled bag that includes:
- Diapers and wipes (if needed)
- A complete change of clothes
- Any necessary comfort item (small blanket or lovey)
- A snack and drink if instructed by your teacher
Because toddlers are active and curious, extra clothes are always helpful! Specific classroom reminders will be shared before the school year begins.
Is my child required to be potty trained?
No. Little Blessings serves infants and toddlers, and potty training is not required.
We partner with families when children begin showing readiness signs and support them gently and consistently during that transition.
How do you handle separation anxiety?
Separation can be emotional — especially for our youngest children (and parents!). Our teachers use calm reassurance, consistent routines, and gentle redirection to help children adjust.
Most little ones settle quickly once engaged in play or comforted by a trusted caregiver. We encourage families to create a short, confident goodbye routine, which helps children feel secure.
Do families need to be Christian?
No. We welcome families from all backgrounds.
Little Blessings is a Christ-centered program, and we model kindness, patience, and love in age-appropriate ways each day. Faith is introduced gently through songs, prayer, and loving interactions.
What if my child cries?
Crying is a normal part of early development, especially in new environments. Our teachers respond quickly with comfort, redirection, and reassurance.
We focus on building trust and helping children feel safe. If a child is having a particularly difficult time, we communicate with families so we can work together to support them.
What is your teacher-to-child ratio?
We maintain age-appropriate teacher-to-child ratios to ensure attentive care, safety, and meaningful interaction.
Smaller group sizes allow our staff to respond to each child’s needs while creating a warm and nurturing environment.
