Sunday School At Hope
Sundays | 9:45–10:45 AM
If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.
-1 Corinthians 8:2
Sunday mornings at Hope are about growing in faith together.
Every week, from babies in the nursery to adults in Bible study, there is a place for you. We believe faith grows best when it’s personal, age-appropriate, and rooted in relationships. No matter the age, one truth stays the same: Jesus loves you — and you belong here.
Whether your family has been at Hope for years or you’re walking through our doors for the very first time, you are welcome here.
Kid's Lessons
Sunday Funday
Ages 3 Years - 5th grade
Every other month, all of our kids — from Preschool Jam through Club 45 — come together for something a little extra fun.
Sunday Funday is a chance to pause our regular classes and build friendships across age groups through shared experiences. From ice cream sundaes and donuts to movie mornings and surprise activities, each one is a little different — but always full of laughter, connection, and joy.
It’s a favorite for many of our kids and a great reminder that church is a place where we can have fun together, too.
Upcoming Sunday Funday:
- Coming Soon
Ages: Birth-2
Our nursery is a safe, loving space designed just for our youngest children.
During the Sunday School hour, babies and toddlers enjoy playtime, books, music, and gentle social interaction in a calm, nurturing environment. There isn’t a structured lesson at this age — instead, we focus on providing security, warmth, and care while they grow and explore. This time also allows parents the opportunity to fully participate in their own Sunday School class, knowing their little one is safe and well cared for.
Even in the simplest moments — a song, a story, a cuddle — children begin to experience the love of Jesus through the people who care for them.
Preschool Jam
Ages: 3-5 years
Preschoolers are curious, energetic, and always asking “why?”
Preschool Jam introduces simple Bible stories through play, music, crafts, and repetition.
They learn big truths in simple ways:
God made me. God loves me. Jesus is my friend.
Current Lessons & Focus:
- April: Ruth: Caring for Others
K1 Crew
Kindergarten & First Grade
Kindergarten and first graders are beginning to connect the dots between Bible stories and their own lives. In K1 Crew, lessons include interactive storytelling, beginner Bible skills, and group activities that help them understand how God’s Word applies to them.
We help them build confidence in knowing they are part of God’s family.
Current Lessons & Focus:
- April: Ruth: Caring for Others
Level 23
Second & Third Grade
Second and third graders are ready to go deeper. They begin exploring Scripture with more independence — learning how to look up verses, ask thoughtful questions, and see how God’s promises connect from story to story.
This is where faith starts becoming something they understand, not just something they hear.
Current Lessons & Focus:
- April: Books of the Bible
Club 45
Fourth & Fifth Grade
Fourth and fifth graders are growing in maturity and confidence. Club 45 encourages discussion, leadership, and real-life application. Students are invited to wrestle with questions, talk through challenges, and see how their faith fits into everyday life — at school, at home, and with friends.
We begin preparing them for the transition into Youth Ministry while continuing to anchor them in God’s Word.
Current Lessons & Focus:
- April: Famous Kids of the Bible
Youth Lessons
6th–12th Grade
Our middle and high school students meet together during the Sunday School hour for meaningful conversation, Biblical study, and real-life application.
Because Confirmation includes many of our middle school students, grades 6–12 gather as one unified group. This creates space for mentoring across ages, deeper discussion, and strong relationships centered on Christ.
2026 Year-Long Study:
People of the Bible
In 2026, our Youth will spend the year walking through the lives of key people in Scripture. Together, they’ll explore real stories of faith, failure, courage, doubt, obedience, and redemption.
From well-known figures to lesser-known stories, students will discover:
- How God works through imperfect people
- What faith looks like in real-life situations
- How Biblical truth connects to their everyday lives
Rather than jumping topic to topic, this year-long format allows students to dig deeper and truly understand the bigger picture of God’s story.
Adult Lessons
Ages 18+
Adult Sunday School is a welcoming, discussion-based environment where questions are encouraged and faith is strengthened.
Whether you are new to Bible study or have been studying for decades, there is space for you. We explore Scripture, connect it to everyday life, and grow together in understanding and community. No one has all the answers — and you don’t have to.
Current Study & Focus:
- April: People of the Bible
