Kids' Ministry at Hope
At Hope, we believe kids aren’t just the future of the church—they are the church today.
Kids Ministry serves children from birth through 5th grade, offering engaging, Christ-centered experiences that help children learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and feel loved and welcomed.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
– Proverbs 22:6

KID'S MINISTRY Groups
Preschool Jam
Birth to Pre-K
Preschoolers begin to explore God’s world through structured Bible lessons, interactive storytelling, music, and crafts that speak to their stage of development.
During the Sunday morning education hour, our leaders lovingly guide children to discover who Jesus is, how much He loves them, and what it means to be part of His family.
Each session includes hands-on learning, joyful singing, and intentional play.
“Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.”
– 1 Chronicles 16:23
K1 Crew
Kindergarten to First Grade
The K1 Crew engages young learners in foundational Bible stories while helping them relate those lessons to their everyday lives.
Through music, videos, games, and interactive teaching, kids in this group are introduced to key biblical themes such as creation, Jesus’ miracles, and God’s promises.
It’s a time of wonder, discovery, and connection—both to God and to their church friends.
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
– Psalm 119:105
Level 23
Second to Third Grade
Level 23 takes kids deeper into the Bible as they begin to ask questions, share ideas, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word.
Through creative learning experiences, children begin to see how the stories of the Bible apply to their own lives.
Worship, prayer, and service are woven into their time together to strengthen both faith and friendships.
“Do not merely listen to the word…Do what it says.” – James 1:22
Club 45
Fourth through Fifth Grades
Club 45 is a dynamic ministry for preteens that prepares them for confirmation and a deeper walk with Christ.
Over the course of two years, students journey through the Bible, explore big questions about God and faith, and build lasting relationships with their peers.
This group experiences prayer, discussion, Bible reading, off-site events, overnight retreats, and opportunities to serve—all in a safe, Christ-centered environment.
“Let your roots grow down into him…Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught.” – Colossians 2:7
Growing in Faith
Sunday School
Sunday School is one of the primary ways our Preschool–5th graders grow in faith each week. Through age-based classes designed just for them, kids learn about Jesus in ways they understand and enjoy.
Classes meet every Sunday from 9:45–10:45 AM.

Wednesday Night Alive
During the Fall and Winter, Wednesday Night Alive (WNA) offers students a chance to gather midweek for dinner, connection, and deeper faith conversations.
Youth meet for study and discussion while also having opportunities to serve and lead within our church family.
Faith Moments
Every stage of childhood brings new growth. At Hope, we celebrate both the meaningful milestones within our Kids Ministry and the sacred Life Moments of the Church that shape a child’s lifelong faith.
Ministry Milestones
These moments reflect growth within our Kids Ministry — reminders that faith is forming year by year.
Moving into Sunday School
When a child turns 3 by August 31, they transition from Nursery into Sunday School at the beginning of the school year. This is an exciting step into more intentional Bible learning, friendships, and growing independence in faith.
Bible Blessing (Level 2/3)
Each fall, families participate in a short parent session before students are presented with and blessed over their Bibles during worship. This milestone encourages children to begin engaging Scripture more independently and reminds families that God’s Word is central in their home.
Life Moments
Beyond ministry milestones, the Church gathers around sacred moments that are rooted in Scripture and God’s promises.
Holy Baptism
Baptism is a gift of God’s grace for all ages — infants, children, youth, and adults. Through water and the Word, God forgives sins, claims us as His own, and gives new life in Christ. It is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith.
First Communion
Each spring, students may begin First Communion instruction as early as 5th grade. Through guided teaching, students learn what the Lord’s Supper means, why Christ gives this gift, and how it strengthens their faith. This milestone marks the beginning of regularly receiving Communion in worship.
