Wesley Spottiswood
Director of Christian Education
Wesley Spottiswood serves as Director of Christian Education at Hope Lutheran Church, where he leads a variety of ministries including Youth Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Small Groups, Outreach, and Disaster Relief. Since joining Hope in 2017, Wesley has been passionate about helping people of all ages grow in their relationship with Christ and discover how to live out their faith in everyday life.
Wesley earned his degree in Christian Educational Leadership and is a certified Director of Christian Education (DCE) through Concordia University Irvine. He is married to his wife, Jillisa, and they recently welcomed their first child, a son named Oliver. A lifelong learner and passionate traveler, Wesley has visited 49 states, 32 countries, and 6 continents, gaining inspiration from cultures and communities around the world.
Wesley’s favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9—“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” He finds great joy in walking alongside others in their faith journey and creating meaningful spaces for connection and growth.
