Phil Phillips
Facilities Manager
Phil Phillips serves as Facilities Manager at Hope Lutheran Church, where he keeps the campus running smoothly—handling everything from building maintenance and event setup to troubleshooting and emergency fixes. Since joining the staff in 2023, Phil has been the go-to guy for making sure everything behind the scenes stays on track, allowing ministry to happen without a hitch. He brings a wealth of hands-on experience, a steady presence, and a quick sense of humor to his work.
Phil is known for his resourceful mindset and practical problem-solving—and for being the first to jump in when something needs attention. Outside of work, he enjoys playing disc golf and watching his favorite movie, Tombstone. Whether tightening bolts or calming chaos, Phil helps create a safe and welcoming space for the Hope community.
Phil describes his mission simply: “To make sure the wheels don’t fall off and nothing catches on fire.”
