Rev. Devin Murphy
Senior Pastor
Rev. Devin Murphy serves as Senior Pastor at Hope Lutheran Church, where he leads with a heart for building up, encouraging, and strengthening God’s people through the Word and Gospel. He joined the pastoral staff at Hope in 2023 and was called as Senior Pastor in 2026. Pastor Devin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary. Prior to his pastoral ministry, he served as both a tutor and adjunct instructor at Concordia Seminary, and he brings a deep love for Biblical theology and faith formation to his work at Hope.
He is married to Melissa, and together they are raising five wonderful children—Penny, Devin Jr. (“DD”), Jamie, Jenny, and Emma. Pastor Devin enjoys reading (especially The Chronicles of Narnia), playing games with his family and friends, and helping others discover joy in Christian community. Whether preaching, teaching, or walking alongside members through everyday life, his greatest joy is seeing people thrive in their faith, service, and personal walk with Christ.
He is passionate about building up, encouraging, and strengthening people with Christ’s Word and Gospel.
