Worship Resources

Worship Services at Hope

All are welcome to join us for worship this weekend at Hope Lutheran Church! Services are on Saturday at 5:30 PM; and Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. Social distancing and masks are not required, but masks are still strongly recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated. 

Online Worship
Every Sunday, Hope's 8:30 & 11:00 AM services are live-streamed and a recording of the 8:30 AM service is available for viewing after 10:00 AM. 

Midweek Communion
For those unable to resume in-person worship, Hope offers small (ten-person maximum) Midweek Communion services weekly. For planning purposes, advance sign-up is required.

Worship Check-In 
If you attend in-person or online services, please record your weekly attendance at the beginning or after each service.

In-Person Sunday School for Children, Youth, & Adults

All Sunday school and Adult Education classes will be from 9:45-10:45 AM. No advance sign-up is required for these classes.

  • “In Christ”: A Study On Ephesians. In conjunction with our summer sermon series, “In Christ,” you are invited to take an in depth look at the reading of the week from the book of Ephesians. Located on the Adult Education floor, room 301. Leaders: Pastor Lew, Pastor Wayne, and Vicar James. “In Christ” Self-Starter Summary. For those who are “Sunday schedule challenged,” a PDF summarizing the highlights of the adult education class will be posted on our website each week. You are encouraged to follow along!

  • Brown Bag Ministry is Growing. Brown Bag Ministry makes and delivers 150-175 nutritious lunches to local children and their families in Wake Forest. As this ministry grows and adds additional weekends, additional leaders are needed to prepare set up, and lead volunteers during the event.   • Calling All Vendors! Do you have something you would like to sell to the community? On October 2, 2021 from 11-3pm, Hope Lutheran Church is hosting an outdoor harvest festival that will include bounce house, dunk tank, jousting, games, face painting, Charlie Kabob food truck (with expanded menu), vendors, and more! If you are interested in becoming a vendor for this event please sign up online or contact DCE Wesley Spottiswood at 919-554-8109 or .

  • Little Blessings Morning Out Program at Hope Lutheran is looking for enthusiastic people who love to work with kids to join our team working from 3-4 hours per day, 3-4 days per week. Children ages 0-2 come to this program to gain social skills and build a foundation for their education. Teachers are responsible for story times, music with the kids, safety of the children and providing a loving, Christian environment for these families.
