The focus of the preschool is to provide children with age appropriate opportunities for spiritual, emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth. Children will grow through play, stories, learning centers, Bible lessons, chapel, music, arts and crafts. The preschool offers a weekday program for toddlers, two, three, four and five-year old children.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is a combination of free play and group activities guided by qualified teachers and teaching assistants. Curriculum areas include:
Hope Lutheran Church Preschool

Art, music & movement
Gross and fine motor development
Socialization development
Number Usage
Letter and sound recognition
Science and social studies
Preparatory writing skills
Language development

The curriculum includes weekly chapel services which are supplemented by classroom Bible stories and songs from “Voyages-Exploring God’s Word” Bible curriculum. Christian ideals are not viewed as a subject apart from our daily living, but rather as the way to live and work together.
