Confirmation – Youth Ministry

Hope’s Confirmation instruction takes place in the 5th and 6th grades with the Rite of Confirmation in the spring of the second year. Students can get connected to the process along the way if they miss the beginning.
For those relocating after the 6th grade, we offer a modified program for older students.

The Confirmation model at Hope consists of a combination of retreats, small groups and large gatherings. This enables us to balance instruction, relationship building and discipleship.

Midweek Small Groups

Midweek small groups are led by trained adults who help the students build relationships and process the information learned at retreats and events.

Confirmation Small Groups

Confirmation Small Groups meet each week during the Wednesday Night Alive (WNA) schedule from 6:30PM – 7:30PM.
Parents are encouraged to model the commitment to Christian education by attending one of the adult Bible study groups that gather on Wednesday nights.

Fellowship and Service activities

Fellowship and Service activities are held in conjunction with Confirmation Ministry at Hope.
Parents and volunteers are always needed to help chaperone these events.
