New Birthday Tradition for 5-6 Graders

Every month Steve McCarthy will host one big birthday get-together at Dairy Depot to celebrate everyone who had their birthday during that month. Even if you didn’t have a birthday that month, you are still welcome to show up and celebrate with the birthday kids! But if you did have a birthday that month you’ll get free ice cream or hot chocolate! Questions? Contact Steve McCarthy at  or 919-554-8109.

Sunday School

Calling all 5 & 6 grades to join the fun on Sunday mornings. Bring your kids by the Youth Center from 9:45-10:45AM to play games, create artistic masterpieces, make friends, and strengthen their relationship with God. It will be a fun combo of learning, playing, and creating! Questions? Contact Steve McCarthy, DCE Intern, at or 919-554-8109. Please note, there will be no Sunday School on December 24 or December 31, 2017.

The Confirmation Program at Hope

Confirmation is a time in a young person's faith life when they confirm the promise made at their baptism. Hope's program is two years during 5 & 6 grades. However, each year we have 7-9 graders who connect to Hope and go through the program as well. Students focus on a Lutheran understanding of the Bible and use the Catechism as a guide. Questions? Contact the church office at 919-554-8109.
