About the speaker:

Shelly Hummel, LMFT has been in practice for 13 years and is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with couples. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa with Honors in Psychology and obtained her Master’s Degree in Marital and Family Therapy at Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. Her background includes work in the private, public, and Christian sector, as well as at the University of North Carolina, Department of Psychiatry.
