The Support Our Troops Team

The Support Our Troops team is dedicated to remembering our military and showing appreciation for everything they are doing. Donations are received to send care packages that include reading materials, cookies, candy, batteries, soap, shampoo, combs, brushes etc… to the brave troops serving in the war zones. Hope’s support also extends to the wounded troops and their families at the Fisher House at Fort Bragg when volunteers visit and work to make sure those soldiers needs are met.
This ministry also contributes a portion of all money raised to the local USO facility at the Raleigh/Durham Airport.

Support Our Troops, every September, conducts a 3m/5k walk that winds in and through the Heritage Wake Forest community and is designed to raise money to send care packages and to help military organizations like the Fisher House.

Support Our Troops also conducts a Brown Bag collection once per year of much appreciated personal hygiene items and sends them as care packages to the troops serving across the globe.
