Walnut Creek Lemonade Stand Training – NEW Fundraising Opportunity!!

Hope’s Youth ministry has a new way to raise funds to help offset costs for trips, retreats, and National Youth Gatherings.  We will be working with Walnut Creek as vendors at a Lemonade Stand. Youth 17 and older, and ALL Hope parents (grades 5 – 12) are welcome to sign up for shifts. Profits for each night will be divided by those families who worked. All workers must attend one of the training meetings to volunteer.

Once you attend training, Krista Young will send you a link to pick the concerts you’d like to volunteer. Questions? Email Krista at kyoung@hopelutheranwf.org.

Ruth Project
Gleaning is the act of collecting leftover crops from farmer’s fields after they have been harvested and then distributed to people in need.  The Ruth project, has gleaned strawberries, blue berries, sweet potatoes, collards and turnip greens helping provide fresh produce for people who have limited access to it.  If you, or your family, would like to be notified of future gleaning events, please email Susan Hooper at swoozie9@gmail.com.
