3rd Annual Cupcake Challenge
March 8, 2014 from 6:30-8:00PM
Calling all Bakers & Cupcake Enthusiasts! Do you have an “out of the world” cupcake recipe? Enter your cupcakes to win prizes. Entry fee is $10 per recipe. Not a baker? Come and enjoy sampling Hope’s finest cupcakes on March 8! Admission is $5 per person with a $20 family maximum. The proceeds will benefit the Middle School Mission Team attending the servant event this summer in Charleston, South Carolina. Also, a HUGE thank you to Thrivent for matching the funds raised
Defy Gravity with the 5-6 and 7-8 graders!
March 16 from 1:30 – 5:15PM; Cost is $16/person
Come jump, bounce, and fly with the youth at Defy Gravity in Durham. Parents are needed to drive and chaperone (if parents plan on jumping, indicate that on the sign up). Waivers…All jumpers and observers MUST sign a waiver. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Visit www.defygravity.us and either sign the electronic waiver or download and print the waiver. That also must be placed in Krista’s mailbox or brought to the event.
Habitat for Humanity in Wake Forest
Hope’s Scheduled Work Days: March 22, April 26, & May 17
Hope Lutheran is partnering with other churches in Wake Forest to form the Northern Wake Faith Coalition which sponsors a new construction Habitat home. Volunteers will be needed to help Nakeshia Fowler and her daughters build their new home! Groundbreaking Blessing Ceremony is tentatively set for Sunday, March 2 at 3:00PM.
Movie Event for High School youth & parents
"God’s Not Dead" PG-13 on March 30
