Christmas Angel Tree
This ministry also helps one family each year who attends Concordia Seminary in St. Louis MO (A link to their web page is www.csl.edu) Many times men and women who are aspiring to be church workers or pastors are on limited budgets and often do not have sufficient funds to grant their children or themselves gifts for Christmas. |
Every December Hope Lutheran Church adopts 10-15 families in need in the Wake Forest area. Gift and food donations are delivered to these families the week before Christmas. A Christmas tree is set up in the church foyer and paper angels, with individual family needs written on them, adorn the tree. 
A member of Hope acquires an angel from the tree and buys the appropriate item(s) for that family. The items for a family are collected and then distributed to the family the week before Christmas.
