Krista Young is originally from an island in the South Pacific. She attended Concordia College in St Paul, Minnesota and graduated with a BA and her certificate as a Director of Christian Education in 1993. She is married to Joel and is the mother of 2 girls. Krista served as a DCE at 3 different churches in Missouri before moving to North Carolina. She was also the Spiritual Life Director for a maternity home for four years. Krista was called to be the DCE and Youth Ministry at Hope Lutheran in 2005. She is passionate about helping youth and adults discover that they are “fearfully, wonderfully made” by the Creator of this world. Krista believes in having fun and lives life with lots of laughter and joy.
